Eva Ruark's Obituary
Eva Ruark, age 69, of Cincinnati, IA died Thursday, June 24, 2004 at Mercy Medical Center, Centerville.
She was born January 11, 1935 at Goatsburg near Cincinnati, Iowa the daughter of Steve Raskie and Eva Cinkovich Raskie. She was married to Vernon Ruark August 16, 1978 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Centerville, he preceded her in death. She was retired. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the St.Mary's Quilting Club. She was a beloved aunt and godmother.
She is survived by three brothers Carl Raskie and his wife Marie of Moline, IL, Gabe Raskie and his wife Betty of Centerville, Steve Raskie and his wife Doris of Centerville, six sisters; Mary Adams and her husband Abie of Centerville, Frances Sniegowski of Centerville, Christina Kolniak of Hinsdale, IL, Cecilia Budiselich and her husband Tom of Centerville, Patricia Jolly and her husband Jim of Mundelein, IL, Helen Hawk and her husband Glen of Centerville, two step children Carolyn Wells of Des Moines, and Randy Ruark of Wichita, KS, 5 step grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon, parents and two brothers George & Michael Raskie, a step daughter Pam Felton.
A Mass of Resurrection will be held Monday 11:30 AM, June 28,2004 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Joe Miller officiating. A memorial visitation will be held Sunday from 6-8pm with a Prayer Service at 8 PM at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home. Her cremains will be buried at Oakland Cemetery following the Mass of Resurrection. A memorial has been established to St. Mary's Catholic Church and may be left or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, PO Box 6, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
