Esther Rosenbaum's Obituary
Esther L. Rosenbaum, 80, of Centerville died Sunday morning, March 6, 2005 at Centerville Nursing and Rehab in Centerville.
Esther was born on April 20, 1924 to Ambrose and Frances (Borgia) Nobile in Numa, Iowa. She married Donald Rosenbaum in Albia, Iowa on December 10, 1949. Esther and her husband Donald owned and operated Rosenbaum's Food Market for over 20 years in Centerville.
Esther is survived by one sister, Anna Furlin of Centerville, one brother John Nobile of Colona, Illinois, two nephews Larry Butkovich and his wife Cathy of Centerville and Joe Dean Clark of Centerville, three nieces, Sandy Tucker and Jolene Nobile both of Moline, Illinois and Cheryl Kirkland of Centerville. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Rosenbaum, parents Ambrose and Frances Nobile, one sister Inez Butkovich and a brother Chiden Nobile.
Mass of the Resurrection will be held 11:30 AM Thursday, March 10, 2005 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Ron Will officiating. Visitation will be held at the Thomas Lange Funeral home from 5-8 PM Wednesday, March 9 with a prayer service at 5:30 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Numa Cemetery. A memorial has been established to St. Mary's Catholic Church or the Numa Cemetery which may be left or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, PO Box 6, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
