Ernest Franklin Henderson Jr. age 67, of Centerville, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023 at his home.
Ernest was born on June 24, 1956 in Centerville, Iowa, the son of Ernest Henderson Sr. and Mary Lou (Ballanger) Henderson. In the summer of 1988, he was united in marriage to Margerette, and to this union, a daughter was born, Michelle.
Left to honor Ernest's memory are his daughter, Michelle (Daniel) Pendergraft; his grandson, Collin Reid Pendergraft; four siblings, Dennis Henderson (Mary Warrnick), Teresa (Bub) Walker, Mike (Tanya) Henderson, and Mark (Heidi) Henderson; as well as several extended family members and friends.
Ernest was preceded in death by his wife, Margerette Henderson; his parents, Ernest and Mary Lou Henderson; his sister, Sissy Abbott; as well as a host of extended family members and friends.
Per wishes, cremation has been accorded. There are no scheduled services at this time.
