Eric Dean Elarton, 22 of Numa, Iowa died on Sunday, September 4, 2011 in Centerville, Iowa. He was born the son of Russell and Penny (Williamson) Elarton on October 27, 1988 in Centerville, Iowa. He graduated from Centerville Community High School in 2007.After graduation from High School, Eric began working for the Bloomfield Foundry in Bloomfield, Iowa as a Mold Dumper. He was a member of the Numa Christian Church in Numa.He was preceded in death by: his brother, Mark Elarton on August 16, 2003; his uncle, Adam 'Peck' Elarton on September 4, 2003; paternal grandfather, Enoch Dwight Elarton; and maternal grandfather, Robert Calvert.Eric is survived by: his parents, Russell Elarton of Numa, Iowa and Penny Hickman of Kansas City, Kansas; a brother, Kyle Elarton and Shaeleigh Garr of Numa, Iowa; his sister, Samantha Harrington and her husband, Travis of Agency, Iowa; his pride and joy niece, Addison Harrington; his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Barrell and her husband, Gary of Mystic, Iowa and his maternal grandmother, Beverly Calvert of Cameron, Missouri; along with several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and a host of friends.Funeral Services will be held at 10 am on Friday, September 9, 2011 at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Rev. Kay Singley officiating. Burial will follow in the Numa Cemetery in Numa, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2011 from 2 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home with the family present from 6 pm until 8 pm.Memorials can be made in his name and will be designated at a later date.
