Emil Leimkuehler's Obituary
Emil Leimkuehler, age 76, of Numa, Iowa died Thursday, August 23, 2007 at his home.
Emil was born July 1, 1931, the son of George and Esther (Burch) Leimkuehler in Mt. Sterling, Missouri. He served in the Korean War for two years after High School. He attended Ebenezer Baptist Church in Fulton, Missouri.
Emil is survived by his wife, Nancy of Numa, Iowa; a daughter, Susan (James) Eddy of Numa, Iowa; a grandchild, Charli Eddy of Numa, Iowa; and a sister, Bessie Topel of Blackwater, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Fred.
Funeral services with military honors will be held 11AM, Monday, August 27, 2007 at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home with Pastors Walter Lockhart and Kay Singley officiating. Burial will follow in the Numa Cemetery. A visitation will be held Monday at the funeral home from 10-11 AM. A memorial has been established to Mercy Hospice and may be left at or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S.18th St., Centerville, Iowa 52544.
