Eloise L. Walker's Obituary
Eloise L. Walter age 91, of Olathe, Kansas and a former Centerville, Iowa resident, went to be with the Lord she loved Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at The Good Samaritan Center in Olathe, Kansas. Elois was born on December 21, 1917 in Numa, Iowa to Gus and Mary Miller. She was united in marriage to Hershel L. Walter in 1938; they were happily married for 50 years before he passed away on May 8, 1988. She was a devoted member of the Church of the Nazarene for near 70 years, service to Christ and her family were her true passion.She is survived by: two daughters, Carolyn Tedrow (George) of Boonville, Missouri and Joyce McCarl (Marvin) of Aurora, Colorado. One son, Donald Walter (Kathy) of Olathe, Kansas; one sister, Elizabeth Vincent of Houston, Texas; Six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.Funeral Services will be 2PM Sunday, July 19th at The First Church of the Nazarene in Centerville, Iowa with Rev. Walter King officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery in Centerville. The Schmidt Family Funeral Home of Centerville, Iowa is caring for the local arrangements for the Walter family at this time.
