Elmer Lee Hopkins, 76 of Bloomfield went to be with his Lord on January 6, 2013. He was born to Everett Earl & Ella Mae (More) Hopkins on May 2, 1936 in Davis County. Elmer received his education graduating from Bloomfield High School in 1955. He married Helen Kay Hubbartt on November 12, 1955 at the Bloomfield Christian Church. Elmer was a farmer and joked that he raised corn, beans, cows and kids. He lived a Christian life and leaves a host of friends behind. Elmer is survived by his wife Kay of Bloomfield, six children; Jeri Housholder(Randy) Susan Hopkins, Rick Hopkins, Teresa Marlow(Bryan) Justin Hopkins(Crystal) and Kaitlyn Hopkins, 13 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, three sisters; Pamela Crain, Sandra King and Alice Rumley. Elmer was preceded in death by his parents and step father, Alva Davis. Elmer's body has been cremated and no services are planned. Condolences may be shared at www.thomasfh.com.
