Elizabeth Kuberski's Obituary
Elizabeth Kuberski, age 95, died on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center - Long Term Care in Centerville. She was born in Cincinnati, Iowa on July 8, 1922. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Arthur G. Kuberski. Elizabeth is survived by her son Jim Kuberski and his wife Jane and daughter Marcella McElvain and husband John. From Elizabeth's birth to her death she nourished people around with her love and faith. She especially loved her grandchildren Darcie, Jessica, Jalaa, Jemi, Alex, Jered; great grandson, Cole. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and was their moral compass in life and faith. In lieu of flowers a memorial to Mercy Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary and Mercy Medical Center - Long Term Care. Mass of Resurrection will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 19, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment will immediately follow at Oakland Cemetery in Centerville. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 18, 2018 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville. A rosary service will take place at 6:30 p.m., Friday at the funeral home. A special thank you to Jane Kuberski, wife of Jim Kuberski for the care and help she gave Elizabeth from the beginning to the end of her stay.
