Elaine L. Clauson's Obituary
Elaine Clauson, age 84 of Centerville died Sunday April 2, 2006 at the Golden Age Care Center, Centerville.
Elaine was born September 23, 1921 the daughter of Samuel and Kate (Albertson) Shafer in Mystic, Iowa. She married Virgil Clauson in Unionville, Missouri on April 3, 1942. He preceded her in death in 1981. Elaine was a homemaker and was also employed at Swifts, Blue Bird and Centerville Schools. She also loved to play the guitar.
Elaine is survived by a daughter Pat Sconzo of Centerville, Iowa and a son Randy Clauson of Denver, Colorado: four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant son Jerry Richard.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 PM Wednesday afternoon, April5, 2006 at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home with Pastor Kay Singley officiating. Visitation will be from 7-8 pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Dale Cemetery. A memorial has been established to either Golden Age Care Center or Hospice of Central Iowa and may be left or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S 18th St. , Centerville, Iowa 52544.
