Edwin Larry Martin's Obituary
Edwin Larry Martin, 83, of Plano, passed away at his home on February 6, 2022.
Edwin was born on March 7, 1938 to William and Lois Martin in Centerville, Iowa. He attended Centerville High School, graduating in 1956. In June of 1960, Edwin married the love of his life, Carol (Kinion) Martin and to this union came two children: Daniel and Michael Martin.
Edwin dearly loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Edwin was a proud Dekalb seed corn salesman. You could often find him working on his farm. In his spare time he liked to hunt and fish, especially with his brother, Jim.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Martin, his children: Daniel Martin and Michael Martin, and his brother: Jim Martin (Judy). Edwin is preceded in death by his parents: William and Louis Martin and a sister Carol Daugherty. Edwin is also survived by 6 grand children and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Edwin will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11:00AM at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa. Visitation will take place one hour prior at 10:00AM. Interment will be held immediately after at the Confidence Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the family and condolences may be shared at www.thomasfh.com or facebook.com/thomasfuneralhome.
