Edwin LeRoy Cassady's Obituary
Edwin LeRoy Cassady, age 55 of Centerville, died Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at the Mercy Medical Center, Centerville.
Leroy was born February 12, 1951, the son of Francis Edwin and Wilda Mae (Lawrence) Cassady in Centerville, Iowa. He graduated from Unionville High School in 1969. LeRoy married Denise Joyce Eddy on July 5, 1970 in Centerville, Iowa. He worked at Union Carbide for thirty-five years, Curwood, Quality Assurance and farmed.
LeRoy is survived by his wife, Denise of Centerville, Iowa, two children, Shaun and Greg Cassady both of Centerville, Iowa, his mother, Wilda Mae Cassady of Unionville, Missouri and a brother, Ralph Cassady of Kansas City, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin, a brother, Gary Cassady and in-laws, Donald and Mildred Eddy.
Graveside service will be held 11 AM, Friday, January 5, 2007 at the Sharon Chapel Cemetery, south east of Centerville, Iowa with Howard Luscan officiating. A memorial has been established and may be left at or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S. 18th St. Centerville, IA 52544.
