I am so grateful to have known Ed. He was so easy going and kind. We would talk about our health issues and laugh about the good 'ol days. But most of all Ed would tell me about his family. He was and is very proud of his children and grandchildren. He also appreciated Barbara's willingness to be by his side, wherever that my be at any given time. Right now I'm looking at a note he wrote for me. Grogan's Park Chiropractic Center. When he found a doctor or vitamin or something that was a help to him in some way, he would come see me first thing in the morning and share his information. I believe it was two weeks ago, as he was leaving for the day, he told me he was leaving town for the weekend. He explained he was going to watch his granddaughter play basketball. He said it would be the last time he would get to see her play. He was really excited that almost all the other children were going to meet him in that town. When he got back on Monday he was just so happy. He told me all but, I believe he said, one of his kids did not get to join them. (Excuse my poor memory.) I was so impressed that his family was so close and would do that for one another and their dad. Ed was so humble, what a rare quality in a man. I loved to listen to him. He was quite and spoke softly but he was a resource. Ed was a very bright person however very respectful to other coworkers. He seemed content to work in the background.I will surely miss Ed and I knew him a very short time. I'm comforted to know we will meet again. God Bless each of you adjust to this temporary separation. Posted by Sandy Stobaugh - Houston, TX - Co-worker and Friend January 30, 2013
