Edward Keeney's Obituary
Edward (Ed) Marvin Keeney, age 60 of Centerville, Iowa died Friday October 2, 2009 in Kearney, Missouri.
Ed was born January 22, 1949, the son of Glenn Austin and Lola Wilda (Phipps) Keeney in Chariton, Iowa. He married Sandra Rose Martini on June 27, 1969 in Reseda, California. Ed enjoyed spending time with his family, going to auctions and playing poker. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Moravia, Iowa.
Ed is survived by his parents; wife; children, Renee (Edward) Parcel of Lovilia, Iowa and Mark (Phyllis) Keeney and family of Centerville, Iowa; grandchildren, Christopher Davis of Lovilia, Iowa, Brandon Davis of Madill, Oklahoma, Joseph Bower of Centerville, Iowa, Lindsey Keeney of Centerville, Iowa, Alyssah Hinds of Lovilia, Iowa, and Noah Parcel of Lovilia, Iowa; siblings, Kathy (Donn) Major of Dayton, Nevada, Patti (Dan) Cartrell of Martinsville, Indiana, and Darrell (Jody) Keeney of Castaic, California.
A visitation will be held Thursday and Friday at the Lange Funeral Home in Centerville with family present from 6-8 PM. A private burial will be held at a later date.
