EDITH LUELLA HANER Edith Luella Haner, age 96, of Corydon died January 12, 2011. She was the daughter of Delbert and Offie West and was born October 9, 1914. On October 31, 1932, she was united in marriage to Homer Haner and to this union three sons and one daughter were born. Luella was a hard worker. She always had a large garden and all the shelves in her cellar were always filled with canned goods and she kept a large flock of chickens whose eggs helped buy groceries. Those left to honor her memory are her children Norris of Russell, Iowa, Betty George of Prairie City, Iowa and Gene and wife Linda of Afton, Iowa, daughter-in-law Grace Haner of Jefferson City, Missouri, 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Preceding her in death were her husband Homer, son Neal, granddaughter Shelly, son-in-law Larry George, three brothers Daryl, Talton, and Earl and two sisters Melinda and Cecelia.
