Edith Noble's Obituary
Edith Ann Noble, 76, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2020. Edith was born on June 15, 1944 to Koa and Mary Ellen Lorence.
Edith married Phillip Noble in 1965. The couple had three children but according to Bryan, he is the favorite. !Bryan! She attended college in Kirksville, Missouri at Northeast Missouri State University and graduated with a degree in Accounting in 1966.
Edith loved her family and friends and always put others before herself. She was funny and caring and would tease mercilessly but never maliciously. She would always give her opinion without apology but always supported your individual decisions... although you might hear an, "I told you so." !Bryan!
She loved watching HGTV and cooking shows. I think we were most appreciative with the cooking shows and not having to eat her cheese sauce that she put on every vegetable imaginable. !Bryan!
Edith loved playing bridge and games and talking with friends. She was a hard worker but always made time for family and friends. !Bryan!
She was loud (dad is almost deaf, coincidence?) and loving and fearless. She passed on a wealth of knowledge that we will always be appreciative for. !Bryan! She will forever be remembered and missed and we are better for having had her in our lives.
Edith joins her son, Graham and is survived by her children: Bryan Noble and Kelly (Noble) Lohman; grandchildren: Samantha, Sarah and Bailey Noble and Alexander and Mackenzie Lohman. Edith's husband, Philip, joined her in death on February 19, 2021.
Memorial service for Edith and Phillip Noble will be held at the Thomas Funeral Home in Seymour on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 10:30 AM.
Memorials may be made to the Seymour Methodist Church and online condolences may be shared at www.thomasfh.com or facebook.com/thomasfuneralhome.
