So sorry to hear of Edith's passing, and my condolences to your, Dwight. I have many fond memories of Edith, visiting with her and Glen at the farm and when they would come up to northwest Iowa to see the family members who migrated to that part of the state. My last visit with Edith was six or seven years ago at the farm and I learned so much family history. She was sharp as a tack and I thoroughly enjoyed our time together. I will miss her. So sorry to hear about your mom's passing, Dwight. Aunt Edith was a favorite of mine. When my sisters & I visited her at the nursing home a few years ago she reminded me so much of our dad. She outlived all of her brothers & sisters but now will see them again in heaven. God's blessings to you & your family. I was sorry to learn that Aunt Edith, my mother's youngest sister, had passed away. I have many fond memories of Edith and my visits to southern Iowa when I was grow up. I last saw Edith at the 2004 Condra reunion, at which time we went out to the Condra home place, where Edith lived all her life. Not many people lived their entire life in one home. She took us down to Livingstone Cemetery where we visited the family plot and saw other local attractions. She was a joyful person and we all will miss her. Dad (Bob Cool) & I, along with the rest of the family were sad to hear the news of Edith 's passing. I remember loving to visit the farm when I was young . The picture of your mother accompanying her obituary in the Iowegian was so familiar to me. My mother, Grace Harl Miller, was your mother's cousin and she had a great fondness for the Condra family.
