Earl Dee Searby's Obituary
Earl Dee Searby, 87 of Corydon passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021 at his home.
Earl was born to Charles & Clio (Westlake) Searby on April 13, 1934 in Valentine, NE. He received his education from Crookston High School in 1952. On May 15, 1955, Earl was united in marriage to Margaret Grimes. To this union came seven children: Randy, Charles, Charlotte, Kim, Tom, Pam and Donna.
Earl worked a few jobs through his life but retired as a custodian for the United States Postal Service. He enjoyed going to auctions and collecting treasures, taking care of his goats, working and mowing yards and time spent with his family and friends.
Survivors include his children: Randy Searby, Charles Searby, Charlotte Searby, Kim Anderson (Kenny), Tom Searby (Abby), Pam Searby, Donna Alberhasky (Dave), 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and numerous extended family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Searby, siblings: Ruth Capp, Lila Hart, Glen Searby, Jimmy Searby, Wiley Searby, Kenneth Searby, Nyle Searby, Jay Searby, daughter-in-law, Gloria Searby and a grandson, Travis Searby.
Graveside service will be 1:30 pm on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Clio Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the family which will be designated at a later date and condolences may be shared at www.thomasfh.com or www.facebook.com/thomasfuneralhome.
