Earl Dwight Fenton's Obituary
Earl Dwight Fenton, age 84, of Centerville, Iowa, died Tuesday, July 25, 2006, at Arbor Manor in Fremont, Nebraska. He was born the son of Earl and Exie (Hammond) Fenton on June 26, 1922 near Plano, Iowa. He graduated from Moravia Community Schools in Moravia, Iowa in 1939.On July 28, 1941, Dwight was united in marriage to Ethel King in Lancaster, Missouri. Dwight operated a small farm as well as doing auto mechanic and body work. He also enjoyed doing carpentry for many years. He was a member of the Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church in Centerville where he was very active until his health would not permit.Dwight was preceded in death by: his parents; great grandson, Wyatt Voth.He is survived by: his wife, Ethel Fenton of Fremont, Nebraska; son, Earl Fenton and his wife, Deborah of Centerville; daughters, Patricia King and her husband, Delbert of Urbandale, Iowa and Sandra Marshall and her husband, Ronald of Fremont, Nebraska; brother, Jerald Fenton of Melrose, Iowa; twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2006 at 10 Am at the Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church in Centerville, Iowa with Rev. Bob Reagan officiating. Burial will follow at the Brushy Cemetery north of Plano, Iowa.
