Dylon W. Hinojosa's Obituary
On May18, 2013, Dylon Ward Hinojosa was granted his angel wings and went to his heavenly home. His final days were spent surrounded by the family and friends that Dylon had touched throughout his short, yet very memorable life.
Dylon's life may seem too short by most standards, but those who were touched by this special little boy truly understand that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His wonderfully grouchy disposition, unwavering determination to roll across the floor without assistance faster than a speeding bullet and the way he loved to put his whole hand in his mouth for hours at a time producing the stinkiest hands ever brought so many smiles and joy to our family.
Although, he was born with more obstacles in his path then anyone could imagine having to face, he gave us all such courage and hope and reminded us of the preciousness and fragility of life.
Dylon is survived by his loving parents, Ray and Jessica Hinojosa; brothers Ray and Parker Hinojosa; grandparents Ray and Katarina Hinojosa, Lanny and Rhonda Tisue, Kevin and Robbie Shondel; great grandparents Olga and Ray Hinojosa, Raul and Maria Serna, Larry and Mary Shondel; Aunts Ashley (Terry) Adams, Erin (Nick) Garcia, Kimberly (Chris) Sadler; Uncle Mario Hinojosa and many, many cousins who loved their ""Baby Dylon"" and an abundance of friends and family members the number of which is too great to name.
Dylon was preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents Robert and Luz Bastidas, and great-great grandfather Alfred Bastidas, paternal great-great grandmother Micheline Belloma.
Funeral services will be held 10 AM, Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery, Centerville. A visitation will be held on Tuesday at Lange Funeral Home in Centerville from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Hinojosa Family and may be given to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
