I have many fond memories of my cousin Dwight, especially the 1960's-summers growing up when my family would make our yearly trek from Texas to visit my Grandparents and family in Moravia and Albia. I was lucky enough to spend 1 entire summer in Iowa and most of that time was at Uncle Ralph's farm. It was such fun then playing softball, doing chores, and mischief on the farm with all of the 4-boys as Aunt Fanchen would say. Dwight was a jokester then and a playful fella and we have shared many a laugh each time I saw him. I was grateful that he went to special efforts to chauffeur my Aunts Fanchen & Edna to San Antonio in 1989 for my parents 50th wedding anniversary it was great to visit with Dwight then and a few times since in Centerville. I rarely got to see Dwight, but he always seemed sincerely interested in my life. You could count in seeing him at any event involving my grandparents, Clif and June. Kaysie, Dakota and I are so sorry for your loss. Words cannot describe how sorry we are. Dwight lo ed you with all his heart and I know you know this. Its not easy to say or hear, because I just lost my dad a year ago, but he is in a better place. He is smiling down on you with love right beside your mom.
