Dwight K. Foster's Obituary
Dwight Foster, age 67, of Clarkdale, IA died Tuesday evening, July 29, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center, Centerville.
Dwight was born September 28, 1940, the son of Forrest and Hester (Holland) Foster. He married Rosalie Mary Thomas January 14, 1966 in Centerville, Iowa. She preceded him in death on November 2, 2002. Dwight retired from Martin-Marietta Quarry in 2003. He was an avid hunter and loved Nascar and Cardinals Baseball.
Dwight is survived by his two sons, Todd (Jennifer) Foster of Centerville, Iowa and Troy Foster of Centerville, Iowa; two grandchildren, Meaghan and Ryan Foster both of Centerville, Iowa; and two siblings, Carolyn Whitehead of Des Moines, Iowa and Judy Foster of Centerville, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, August 1, 2008 at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home with Pastor Kay Singley officiating. Burial will follow at the Dale Cemetery. A visitation will be held all day Thursday at the funeral home with family present from 6-8 PM. A memorial has been established to Dwight Foster Memorial Fund and may be left at or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa 52544.
