Dusty Lee Edward Carder's Obituary
Dusty Lee Edward Carder, age 43, of Centerville, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025 in Plano.
Dusty was born on February 25, 1982 in Newton, Iowa, the son of Rose Duvernay. He was raised by Nedra and Robert Mudra. On September 16, 2023, Dusty was united in marriage to Laura Herr.
Dusty worked as a laborer in the manufacturing field. He was a jack of all trades and a master of none. He enjoyed fishing, being outside and enjoying nature. Dusty loved anything with peanut butter, especially his mom's peanut butter pie. He was very fond of spending time with his family. Dusty had a way of making everyone around him feel at ease. No matter the struggles anyone faced, Dusty had a heart of gold and with one smile, that lit up any room he was in, made you feel so much better.
Left to honor Dusty's memory are his wife, Laura Carder; his parents, Nedra and Robert Mudra; his biological mother, Rose (Rod) Duvernay; his son, Korbyn Carder; his step children, Brooklyn Hites and Cami (Blake) Deevers; his siblings, David (Jeannie) Carder, Amanda Foster, and Tiffany (Wesley) Bradley; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and extended family members and friends.
Dusty was preceded in death by his grandparents, Terry and Lloyd Carder, Dora Mudra, and Donna (Dick) Bueller; his brother-in-law, Kevin Foster; and his in-laws, Ruth and Dale Herr.
