Sorry not to be with you for the Celebration of Doug's life. I have precious memories of Doug as a child, and some of his years at Calvary Bible College while we lived at Peculiar, MO while Lee worked at the college. But time and geographic distance have prevented more recent memories of your lives together and your children growing up. The Caring Bridge posts have been faithfully followed with continued prayers for all of you in his absence. Praying for God's comfort and guidance for the days ahead.

Vicki and family,While our hearts are saddened by Doug's passing, we rejoice with you that he is no longer in pain and safely with his savior Jesus. We first met Doug nearly 30 years ago. He has been an inspiration to us throughout the years and always fondly remembered. His faith and perseverance throughout his battle with Cancer are a testimony that will linger on through many generations.
Bill and I have been following Doug's journey on Caringbridge. He was such a strong individual in fighting his illness.
