Douglas Dwaine Arnold's Obituary
Douglas Dwaine Arnold of Humeston, Iowa passed away on November 14, 2022 at his home in Humeston. He was born on April 27, 1962 at the Wayne County Hospital in Corydon, Iowa.
He graduated from Mormon Trail High School in 1980. Douglas was married to Patty Rector Arnold in December 1983. To this union three sons were born. Douglas enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Doug considered his dad to be his closest friend.
Doug farmed his entire life. Farming was his passion and something he was able to share not only with Jerry his dad, but with his wife Patty, his sons, and his grandchildren. When Doug was not farming or spending time with family he would do conservation dozer work in the local area.
Doug is survived by his wife Patty Arnold of the home; sons James Arnold, Kyle (Melanie) Arnold, Travis (Brandi) Arnold; grandchildren Broghan , Bryce, Noah, Natalie, Karlie Faye, Nate, and Gracelyn; special extended family member K.D. LaChapelle; parents Jerry and Linda Arnold; brother Randy(Mary) Arnold, sisters Brenda Arnold, Sandee (Jason) Smith; many nieces, nephews; and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by grandparents Thelma and Clifford Arnold, Kermit and Beatrice Evans, and Uncle Dwaine Evans.
Services will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, 10:00 am at the Humeston Methodist Church. Interment will be held immediately following the service at the Garden Grove Cemetery. Dinner will served following burial at the Humeston Methodist Church. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 from 5pm-7pm at the Humeston Methodist Church.
