My condolences to the family of Doris Moore . I was a resident of Corydon Specialty Care while her father was there . Doris was a sweet lady who enjoyed others of the nursing home while visiting her father . I was a CSC twice . My final time was in March , 2023 . I was discharged to my own apartment up in Des Moines . Right before my discharge , Doris came into my room , and handed me a birthday card . This is the kind of things I seen Doris do . It touched me to the point that I still have that birthday card ♥️ This continues to touch my heart . Doris visited me on my final day in the nursing home . A complete stranger . She thought enough of me to visit me and wish me luck on my journey . My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Doris Moore .

I am so sorry to hear of Doris’ passing. We moved to Corydon in 1967 and lived next door to Pid and Thelma. They were the best neighbors ever!
Doris babysat for us once in awhile when my parents would go to Des Moines for a party at the airport for my dad’s work. She was a fun babysitter. I remember one occasion when she made us hot chocolate-the real kind with Hershey’s cocoa instead of a mix and popcorn to go with the cocoa.
Doris was a good person with a heart of gold.

We were neighbors when younger. If anybody lost anything we would call Doris because she could find anything lost. There isn't anything Doris wouldn't do for you if she could. Such a good person, she will be missed. RIP Doris!

Doris always had a thing where when you were getting ready to leave after a visit she would point at your car and tell you your tire was low so you would get out of the car to look and she would get one last hug before you pulled out. She was a wonderful mother & grandmother. She will be missed dearly
