Donnie F. Belloma's Obituary
Donald F. ""Donnie"" Belloma, 75, of Waterloo, formerly of Centerville, died Sunday, Dec 28, 2014 at Strawberry Point Nursing Home in Strawberry Point, Iowa.
He was born Jan. 25, 1939 in Centerville, Iowa, son of Frank and Lucy Lamantia Belloma. He married Elizabeth A. ""Betty"" Zemo June 10, 1961 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Centerville.
Donnie graduated from Centerville High School in 1957 and worked in gear standards at John Deere for 32 A years, retiring in 1991.
He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, both in Waterloo. Survived by: his wife; a daughter, Lisa Ann (Jim) Meyer of Monona, Iowa; a son, Steve F. (Kim) Belloma of Newton, Iowa; 3 grandchildren, Richard Sadler, Anne Sadler, Tristan Meyer; two step grandchildren, Chelsia Crady and Ashley Crady; two step great grandchildren, Olivia and Grahm; a sister, Anne Greene of Centerville.
Preceded in death by: four brothers, Bennie, Joey, Johnny and Sammie Belloma; two sisters, Josie Ranes and Mary Mitchell.
Public visitation will be from 4 until 8 PM Friday, Jan. 2, 2015 at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with a vigil service at 7 PM. Visitation will continue from 6 until 8 PM Sunday, Jan. 4, at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 South 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa, with a vigil service at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM Monday, Jan.5 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Centerville with Father Bill Hubmann officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in the Oakland Cemetery in Centerville. Friends are invited to a lunch immediately following mass at the church.
