Donna Lee Garrow's Obituary
Donna Lee (VanDyne) Garrow, age 73, of Centerville, Iowa and formerly of Corydon, Iowa, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Legacy Lodge in Chariton, Iowa. She was born the daughter of William B. and Leona M. (Rich) Garrow on January 24, 1942 in Davenport, Iowa.On December 31, 1959, she was united in marriage to Ronald J. VanDyne and to this union, they were blessed with five children. They were later divorced. While raising her family, Donna was a passionate and dedicated CNA & Med Aide for many years at the Corydon Care Center in Corydon, Iowa. She loved life. Everyone that knew her would say she was a strong woman. She loved to fish with her grandchildren, play pool, sing karaoke, and she lived life to the fullest.Donna was preceded in death by: her parents; brothers, Mike and Joe Garrow; sisters, Wanda Heim and Alice Gott.She is survived by: her children, Debbie VanDyne of Des Moines, Iowa, J.R. Van Dyne of Allerton, Iowa, Tim VanDyne of Kimball, South Dakota, Laurie Roof and her husband, Jeff of Centerville, Iowa and Nikki Van Dyne of Allerton, Iowa; eight grandchildren, Treye VanDyne and his wife, Randi Jo of Corydon, Iowa, Christopher VanDyne and his wife, Sandra of Spencer, Iowa, Tyler VanDyne of Albia, Iowa, Amanda Harper and her husband, Ian of Allerton, Iowa, Brandon Roof of Centerville, Iowa, SeLenna Cleary and her husband, Rick of Corydon, Iowa Conner VanDyne of Allerton, Iowa and Tate VanDyne of Corydon, Iowa; eight great grandchildren, Taylon VanDyne, Tanner VanDyne, Maddy Jo VanDyne all of Corydon, Iowa, Colt and Hunter Harper of Allerton, Iowa, Addie VanDyne of Albia, Iowa, Jazmine and Michael Cleary of Corydon, Iowa and Cienna Snow of Spencer, Iowa; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be greatly missed.Graveside services will be held at 11 am, Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the Allerton Cemetery in Allerton, Iowa with Paul Niday and Fr. Bill Hubmann officiating.
