Donna L. Corbett's Obituary
Donna Corbett, age 58, of Centerville died Sunday evening, November 13, 2005 at Mercy Medical Center, Centerville.
Donna was born September 1, 1947, the daughter of Dwain and Louise Hudson. Donna married Darl Corbett on January 3, 1976. He preceded her in death in June of 2000. Donna spent her early childhood years residing in Exline, Iowa and attended Exline Grade School. She graduated from Centerville High School and worked as a nurses' aid at the Golden Age Care Center and the old St. Joseph's Hospital. She was a member of the East Pleasant Church of Christ in Cincinnati, Iowa. Donna enjoyed listening to music and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.
Donna is survived by her mother, Louise Hudson; daughter Traci (Skip) Buban of Brazil, Iowa; two brothers, Gary (Sue) Hudson of Knoxville, Iowa, and Philip (Kathy) Hudson of Mystic, Iowa; sister Carol (Ed) Phillips of Centerville, Iowa; two grandsons, Chip and Scotty Buban of Brazil, Iowa. Donna was preceded in death by her father, Dwain Hudson in 1980; her husband; her grandparents; four sister-in-laws; and two brother-in-laws.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, Centerville, Iowa with Pastor Daniel Marsh officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Ararat Cemetery. The funeral home will be open all day Tuesday from 8 AM to 7 PM, November 15, with the family present from 6-7PM. A memorial has been established to the family and may be left at or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
