Donna Conger's Obituary
Donna Lee Dorsett Conger 76 of Cincinnati, IA entered into New Life January 27, 2022 at Cincinnati, IA with her family by her side.
Donna was born May 20th 1945 in Mullen, NE to Elmer and Ether Myers Dorsett. Donna joined 6 brothers and sisters. She married Robert F Conger on February 6, 1960 and 4 children was born to this union Karen, Lisa, Robert and Richard. She was proud to take oath during nursing to save, protect and cherish the life of others.
The good times always started on the weekends. Donna loved for the grandkids to stay overnight. Donna and the kids would watch movies and have bubble pizza and brownies. Matthew did not like to stay because he was afraid of the waterbed; there might be frogs in it. To this day, we still celebrate the bubble pizza and brownies and the tradition will carry on.
Donna loved her humming birds. She was excited each year when they showed up. She would have at least 12 feeders at a time. Donna and John West loved to go camping and attend the good guy's car show.
Donna accepted Jesus as her Savior and was baptized at an early age. She attended the South church in Cincinnati, IA with Pastor Mark Walsh. Donna always loved this church because Mark was not afraid to preach from the Bible.
Donna is survived by her companion John West of 28 years, Two daughter and two sons. Karen (Tom), Lisa (Chris), Robert (Kerry) and Richard (Jamie). Sister-in-law Carol Wages, 13 grandchildren and Former daughter in law Amber Mehrhoff. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, parents Elmer and Ethel, brothers Lloyd, Elmer Gene and sisters Leona, Wanda, Bonnie, Carol and four brother in laws and two sisters in laws.
Per Donna's wishes, graveside service will be 2:30 PM, Monday, January 31, 2022 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati. No public visitation will be held. Memorials may be given to EveryStep Hospice and condolences may be shared at www.thomafh.com or facebook.com/thomasfuneralhome.
