Dolores Lincoln's Obituary
Dolores Lincoln, 72 of Centerville died Monday morning at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville. Dolores was born May 13, 1932 in Buffalo, New York. She was a CNA for many years in San Diego, California. She married Lawrence Lincoln at Long Beach California, he preceded her in death in September, 1989. Dolores moved to the Centerville area in 1991 and became a member of The Church of Christ.
Dolores is survived by 5 children, Linda Hesler of Centerville, Randy Lincoln of Cartersville, Georgia, Thelma Mougeotte and her husband Jim of Ft. St. Lucia, Florida, Charles Whorley and his wife Kathy of Jacksonville, Florida and Thomas Halfaker of Poway, California; 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, one brother Harold Hooper of Buffalo, New York. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 2 brothers Elmer and Lefty Hooper.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, 10 a.m. at Thomas Lange Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Smith officiating. Visitation will be all day Wednesday with family present from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hanes Cemetery immediately following the service. A memorial has been established to the Church of Christ and can be mailed to or dropped off at Thomas Lange Funeral Home 1900 S. 18th St. Centerville, Ia 52544.
