Dolly Kirby's Obituary
Dolly Kirby, age 67 of Centerville, Iowa died Saturday, March 31, 2007 at her residence.
Dolly was born June 9, 1939 the daughter of Harley and Maggie May (Downing) Kirby in Unionville, Iowa. She attended Cornbread County School and graduated from Blakesburg High School with the Class of 1957. She enjoyed wildlife, flowers and loved her animals.
Dolly is survived by brothers; Tom Kirby of Unionville, Iowa, Sam Kirby of Blakesburg, Iowa, and Donny Kirby of Unionville, Iowa, a sister; Janie Clover of Pulaski, Iowa, a special friend; Merlin Scritchfield of Centerville, Iowa and his kids; Mark (Candi) Scritchfield, Misty (Mac) Finley, Lisa (Jeff) Liston and Monty (Ann) Schritchfield, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and nieces and nephews; Richard Kirby, Carel Jr. Rominger, Harley Rominger, Sam Rominger, Lily Dodb, Linda VuJnovich, Danny Peterson, Barb Birtcher, Maymie Weaver, Margret Clover, Laurie Flower, Richard Clover, Kathy Garner, Ellen Lites, and Mark Shoening. She was preceded in death by her parents; Harley and Maggie May, siblings; Bob Kirby, Dasie Rominger, Deloris Peterson, Dortha Shoening and Delzia Wilei.
Memorial services will be held 10 AM Saturday, April 7, 2007 at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, Centerville with Pastor Howard Luscan officiating. A memorial has been established to the Animal Charities and may be left at or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, IA 52544.
