Dollie Margaret (Polson) Logsdon, age 84, of Cincinnati, Iowa, died Wednesday, January 25, 2006, at Golden Age Care Center in Centerville, Iowa. Dollie was born the daughter of John and Jennie (Ford) Polson on May 30, 1921 in Green Castle, Missouri.On December 29, 1938, Dollie was united in marriage to Bert N. Logsdon. Dollie was a homemaker. Dollie received her education at Putnam County Schools. Dollie enjoyed working in her garden and also enjoyed her flower garden. She also loved to make quilts for herself and family members.She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Bert Logsdon on January 3, 2000; brothers, Gilbert, Rod, and Ellis Polson.She is survived by: her sons, Roy and his wife Elaine Logsdon of Centerville, Iowa; Bert Logsdon of Maple Wood, Minnesota; and Roger and his wife Mary Alice Logsdon of Chariton, Iowa; Three sisters, Jennie Mullins of Wright City, Missouri, Mary Logsdon and Mildred McHenry both of Cincinnati, Iowa; 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 step-great grandchild.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2006 at 2:00 PM at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, with Herb Vestal officiating. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati, Iowa.
