Dixie Paxston's Obituary
Dixie D. Paxston, 77 of Centerville, IA passed away on July 13, 2019 at the Golden Age Skilled Nursing Home in Centerville, IA.
Dixie Southern Paxston was born on September 2, 1941 in Alexandria, LA to Herman and Vernice Southern.
Dixie lived much of her life in Centerville, working first at the Miller neighborhood store and later at Union Carbide/Viskase.
Dixie is survived by her son Terry and his wife Rhonda of Davenport, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son (Little Bill) in infancy.
There will be no visitation or services. A private committal will be held at Oakland Cemetery. Thank you to Lange Funeral Home for assisting the family with Dixies arrangements. Memorials have been established to Terry Paxston, to be determined at a later date, and may be dropped off or mailed to Lange Funeral Home, 1900 South 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
