Diane Van Dyne's Obituary
Diane Lynn Van Dyne, 67 of Centerville passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023 at her home.
Diane was born to Donald & Marilyn (Espy) Scott in Washington, Iowa on August 18, 1956. Diane received her education from Centerville High School and would further her education attending Indian Hills Community College - Cosmetology Program. She met Randy Van Dyne in 1983 and the two would be united in marriage on November 26, 1994.
Diane worked as a beautician and day care provider and would later be employed by Centerville Schools until her retirement.Diane enjoyed motorcycle riding and traveling to Montana/South Dakota with Randy. She also enjoyed time with her friends and family, especially her grandkids.
Survivors include her husband, Randy, children: Danica Webber (Ray Johnson), Donald Van Dyne (Mariah Hamilton), Dakota Van Dyne (Kimberly), Felicia Hill, Michelle Beyer (Tim), grandchildren; Dylan, Keegan, Braedyn, Kynslee, Ezrah, Harleigh, Colton, Emma, Easton, Micheala, Addison, Trevor, Jenna, four great grandchildren, mother, Marilyn Scott, sister; Melissa Scott and numerous extended family. She was preceded in death by her father and nephew, Kevin Long.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Friday, November 17, 2023 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville. Interment will immediately follow the service at Haines Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, November 16, 2023 all day at the funeral home with family present from 5-7:00 PM.
