Diane Moorman's Obituary
Diane Moorman, 58, of Mystic died early Thursday morning February 26, 2003 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville.
She was born August 13, 1945 at Unionville, Iowa the daughter of William and Mamie (Davis) Kendall. She attended grade school in Udell and graduated from Centerville High School in 1963. She married Roy Marshall Moorman March 28, 1965 at the 1st Baptist parsonage, Centerville. She enjoyed her grandchildren, often baby-sitting them. She worked briefly at Golden Age Care Center and St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. She was an active Girl and Boy Scout leader, active in PTO, the Mystic Booster Club and was on her Class Reunion Committee.
Surviving are 4 children Roy R. and his wife Malissa Moorman of Centerville, William and his wife Deanna Moorman, Carol Hancox and her husband Mark of Centerville, Angela Guffey and her husband Chad of Mystic, 7 grandchildren Hope and Grant Hancox, Garrett and Madison Moorman Cody and Zachary Moorman and Caitlyn Guffey, a sister Beverly Larkin and her husband William of Ottumwa, Iowa, and friend Gene Moorman.
She was preceded in death by her husband Roy and her parents.
Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Monday, March 1, 2004 at Thomas Lange Funeral Home, Centerville with Kay Singley officiating. Friends may call Sunday from 1 PM until 8 PM with the family present from 6-8 p.m. at Thomas Lange Funeral Home. Burial will be at Elgin Cemetery, Mystic. A memorial has been established and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to PO Box 6, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
