Diane - You were a second mom to me. You welcomed me into your home with a warm smile and a hug every time I came over, and offered me words of encouragement when they were absent in my house. You always had something amazing cooking or baking in the kitchen. Thank you for letting me share a dinner table with you and your family more times than I can remember. I'm sorry for all the times Clarice and I threw softballs into your garden, buried something stupid in the yard or left our bikes in your flowers. Somehow you always fixed our reign of terror. I'm especially thankful for your patience, especially when I broke Clarices antique bed by being a rambunctious preteen. You were so patient and kind. Most importantly, you raised the most amazing daughters and loved my other Dad, Tom. For what it is worth, your love and legacy will remain with them, and with me. I love and miss you.
