Diane Marie Brozek's Obituary
Diane Marie Brozek, age 62, of Moravia, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
Diane was born on May 5, 1963 in Lincoln, Nebraska, the daughter of Donald and Sharron (Burke) Eckery. On June 21, 1985, Diane was united in marriage to Dennis Dale Brozek and went on to raise four children, Jeremy, Alison, Jordan and Joe.
Diane had a career at Zoetis until she retired. Upon retirement, the couple moved to Moravia, where she found a new lease on life after moving into the lake house. Diane loved being outdoors, especially watching the sunsets on her porch. She was a marathon runner, who ran over 80 marathons - with one in every state, earning her a membership of the 50 States Club. She also cherished being around her dogs and horses. In her free time, Diane enjoyed giving back to the local community including baking food for "Lasagna Love". Most importantly, she cherished every phone call and every moment she spent with her family and friends.
Left to cherish Diane's memory are her husband, Denny Brozek; her mother, Sharon Hitz; her children, Jeremy (Stephanie) Brozek DVM, Alison Brozek, Jordan (Clark Pohlmeier) Brozek DDS, and Joe (Abby DDS) Brozek; her grandchildren, Jack Brozek, Phoebe Brozek and Maliah Brozek; her brother, Tom (Gregg) Widick-Eckery; as well as numerous extended family members, friends, dogs and horses.
Diane was preceded in death by her father, Donald Eckery; her brother, Tim Eckery; her in-laws, Charles and Shirley Brozek; and her brother-in-law, Robert Brozek.
