Dennis Huffman's Obituary
Dennis Huffman, age 66 of Centerville, Iowa died Thursday, April 5, 2012 at the University of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City, Iowa.
He was born February 26, 1946 in Des Moines, Iowa the son of Mike and Mable (Morrow) Huffman. Dennis Graduated from Centerville High School.
Dennis worked several years with McGraw-Edison in Centerville. He later owned and operated his own lawn care business. He served his customers faithfully for many years.
He is survived by three children, Deanna (Wallace) Manning of Centerville, Iowa, Deneen (Dusty) Carder of Centerville, Iowa, and Deena (Paul) Plata of Mount Vernon, Iowa; seven grandchildren, William Alonzo (Megan) Fowler, Wallace Manning, Hunter Tyler, Brianna Tyler, Mikayla Elam, Lacey Downey, and Austin Downey; and one great grandchild, William Ray Fowler.
Dennis was preceded in death by his Parents; and a sister Debbie Tracy.
Graveside memorial services will be held 10 AM, Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati, Iowa with Pastor Kay Singley officiating. Memorials have been established to the family of Dennis Huffman and may be given to Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
