Dennis Allen Carmichael's Obituary
Dennis Allen Carmichael, 66 of Mercer, Missouri passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Dennis was born to Max & Jeane (Davis) Carmichael on October 12, 1948 in Princeton, Missouri. He received his education from Lineville High School. On August 6, 1971, Dennis was united in marriage to Rhonda Marolf. To this union were two children; Kevin and Linda. Dennis worked the majority of his life in Agriculture. He worked at MFA and also Premium Standard Farms. Dennis loved the outdoors; he enjoyed hunting and fishing but his favorite thing to do outdoors was to go out and cut wood with his son Kevin. Survivors include his wife Rhonda of Mercer, Missouri, son, Kevin Carmichael (Kerissa) of Bethany, Missouri, grandchildren: Andrea Beth Barton of Butler, Missouri, Ryan Carmichael of Bethany, Missouri, Sara Carmichael of Bethany, Missouri, great grandchildren: Linda, Lilly, Jazmine & Avery, father, Max Carmichael (Devra) of Leon, Iowa, brother, Joe Carmichael (Rhonda) of Newton, Iowa and an uncle, H.L. Carmichael of Mercer, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his mother, daughter, Linda Owens, granddaughter, Kaitlyn Turner and sister, Laura Treadwell. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 3, 2015 at Lineville Baptist Church in Lineville, Iowa.
