Dennis Adams' Obituary
Dennis Adams, age 54 of Humeston, Iowa passed away Tuesday, December 03, 2013 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa
Dennis was born July 25, 1959 in Centerville, Iowa the son of William (Bill) Adams and Hazel Morgan Adams. He received his GED and then became a CNA and worked at Oakwood Nursing Home in Albia, Iowa.
He loved playing with his grandchildren, fishing and working puzzle books. He was the family foreman when cutting trees with his brother-in-law.
Dennis is survived by three children, Lealoni (Mike) Avers of Seligman, MO, Bruce Shipman of Quapaw, OK and Billie Jo (James) Briley of Oconto, Falls, WI; six grandchildren, Otis Rainer of Seligman, MO, Eugene Ranier III of Seligman, MO, Robyn Morgan of Lamoni, Iowa, Trevor Osborn of Lamoni, Micheal Briley of Oconto Falls, WI and Arnette Osborn of Lamoni; his mother, Hazel Adams of Humeston, Iowa; three siblings, Jim (Jackie) Adams of Centerville, Sharon (Roger) Lafee of Humeston and Carl (Joyce) Adams of Cincinnati, Iowa; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, John Andrew Adams; his father, Bill; and a great niece, Makay Morningstar.
Funeral services will be held 11AM Sunday morning, December 8, 2013 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, Centerville with Pastor Sharon Johnson officiating. Friends may call all day Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory with the family present from 6-8 PM. Burial will be in the Humeston Cemetery, Humeston, Iowa. A memorial has been established to purchase a monument for the grave. Condolences may be left at www.langefh.com
