Deneen Lynette Carder's Obituary
Our beloved, Deneen Lynette Carder passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2024. While her death was very unexpected and her whole family and friends were very shocked to hear the news, Deneen suffered from a disease that took over her life and her world. She suffered from drug addiction and for years we feared that the drug addiction would claim her life.
She was born on July 26, 1974 in Unionville, Missouri. She grew up in Cincinnati, Iowa, with her parents and two older sisters. As Deneen grew up and transformed her life, she became the mother to three beautiful children, Hunter, Mikayla and Brianna. Due to this terrible disease, life has taken her to places of incredible darkness. The darkness compounded itself and would soon cause her increased pain and distance from the ones that loved her most. Her family and friends tried so hard to give her encouragement to help with overcoming her disease and to make a life with her children that they all deserved so much.
Deneen is survived by her three children; along with her two older sisters, Deena and Deanna.
We, as a family mention this of our beloved mother and sister in hopes of passing on a sense of hope for someone else with an addiction. Please know that every breath is a fresh start, and we believe in our heart that you can walk away from this terrible disease, and we pray for you now, and in the future. We take comfort in knowing that Deneen is now free from the terrible struggle that haunted her and her family.
Per wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date, and a notice will be posted. Her ashes will be placed privately at their family country cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Family of Deneen Carder, to be used for her kids, and may be mailed to Thomas Funeral Home, ATTN: Carder Family, 501 North 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544. Condolences may be left at www.thomasfh.com or www.facebook.com/thomasfuneralhome.
