I am so sorry for your loss. I have alot of memories to cherish of when we were growing up. I know that DeeDee is no longer in pain. I know that she is with all the rest of our family that went before her. I am sure they are having a wonderful and joyous reunion. To me, Delores was always Grandma. She will be missed but she is not in pain anymore and she is with her cousin who has been waiting for her for 8 years. I loved her hugs and that kiss she would always give me on my forehead and I loved talking to her on the phone when we could not visit up here. She will always be in my heart. I love you Grandma! Grandma Dee was more than my grandma she was like my best friend. When I was in Iowa and need to talk she was there. When I wanted a hug i would get a hug and a kiss on the forehead. Grandma Dee I miss you just as much as I have been missing Grandpa Defreitas for the past 8 years. I'm just glad you are no longer in pain and can be happy again. My mom was more to me then just a mom...she was a best friend. Mom and I shared a lot. When we no longer lived close to one another we spoke on the phone each and everyday. As time has passed since Mom went to be with Jesus...I miss her more today then the day she went home to her mansion in the sky.
