She was a most beloved Aunt....as kids we enjoyed spending time on the farm...to city kids...it was the best... That is until she fixed fresh fried chicken....who knew those chickens could still run ariund even after their heads were taken off....still remember that after all these years....you are loved and will be missed....I love you Aunt Del.... After her mother's passing in the 1940s, she became one of the central pillars of a family that included her father, brothers and nephews. Later this family grew to include her own husband, a pillar in his own right, their children, their husbands and wives, and grandchildren. Even as work, travel and distance took the family in different directions, it's members were always drawn back to Her like a magnet. My sincere condolences go out to the Seals family. Della was one of my mom's best friends and I will never forget the summer I spent on the farm! Such awesome memories! She was one of the best cooks in the midwest and I can still smell the flapjacks she would make every morning. She will be sorely missed but never forgotten. God rest her soul!
