Delbert Admire's Obituary
Delbert Admire, age 75 of Mystic died Friday April 15, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center, Centerville, Iowa.
He was born May 19, 1935 in Dunlap, Missouri, the son of Jess and Leona (Ray) Admire. He worked construction most of his life and he was an auctioneer since he was 13 years old.
Delbert enjoyed fishing and hunting. He always enjoyed his poker nights with his friends. You could catch him more often than not at auctions, either as the auctioneer or him buying the auction items himself. When he was at home, Delbert loved watching ""westerns."" The thing that defined Delbert the most was the love he had for his family and grandchildren.
Delbert is survived by his wife Nancy of Mystic, IA; three children Christina (Bob) Jolley of Centerville, Jess Admire of Mystic, and Grace Admire of Mystic; 6 grandchildren, Hiedi Sue (Travis) Weter, Heather Marie (Justin) Brown, Nicholas Robert Moorman, Nathan Robert Moorman, Haley Marie Moorman, and Bobby J.; 5 great grandchildren, Jane Sue Orr, Aiden Eugene Smith, Mason Seth Warnick, Coltin Allyn Ray Brown, and Trenadie Kylie Brown.
He was preceded in death by his son Robert Ray Admire, his parents, brothers James and John Admire and a sister Odetta Seals.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7PM Tuesday evening, April 19, 2011 at the Lange Funeral Home, Centerville with Pastor Lloyd Johnston officiating. A visitation with the family will be held at the funeral home from 6-8 PM. Cremation was accorded with his wishes.
