Dee Wright's Obituary
Dee Wright, 85, of Centerville and formerly of Cincinnati, passed away on January 19, 2021 at Centerville Specialty Care. Dee was born on March 24, 1935 in Moline, Illinois to Clairmont Lacky and Phyllis (Hohman) Gunter. On New Year's Eve in 1951, Dee married James "Roscoe" Wright and to this union, three daughters were born. Dee worked as a CNA in home health care for several years. Following retirement, Dee and Roscoe enjoyed traveling to Texas numerous times. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and dogs, fishing, camping and playing cards. Dee is survived by her daughters: Cindy Reece, Amber Jean McDonald and Cheryl Ervin (David); 7 grandchildren Misty Houser (Michael), Melissa McMahon, Aaron Conn, Jamie McDonald (Joy), Brandy Huffman (John), Dustin Wright and Stacy Oden, 21 great grandchildren and 8 great- great-grandchildren as well as several extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her sister, Donette Stout. Memorial services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati.
