Debra Sue Fry's Obituary
Debra Sue (McDanel) Fry, age 66, of Moravia, Iowa passed away at her home on December 19, 2024.
Debra was born in Centerville, Iowa on January 1, 1958, the daughter of Robert and Patricia (Clark) McDanel. She graduated from Moravia High School in 1977. Debra married Roy Fry on May 21, 1988. They got to spend 42 years together, and would have been married 37 years in May. Together they raised three children: Gary, Shawna, and Houston.
Debra loved riding horses whenever she could, and going to auctions with Roy. She enjoyed watching game shows on TV, and going to stock car races when she had the opportunity. Most importantly, she adored her husband, children, and grandchildren very much.Debra is survived by her loving husband, Roy; children, Gary (Angel) Krewson, Shawna (Ben) Hoven, Houston (Asia) Fry; grandchildren, Michael, Kira, Bradley, Joe, Jacob, Jordan; and other extended family members and friends.
She is preceded into death by her parents; and a brother Bob McDanel.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 31, 2024 at 10:00AM at Light of Life Church in Moravia, Iowa with Dennis Doud officiating.
