David Lee Saale's Obituary
David Lee Saale, age 86, of Centerville, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021 at MercyOne Medical Center in Centerville.
David was born on February 10, 1935 in Chillicothe, Missouri, the son of Louis Joseph Saale and Fayetta (Bankson) Saale. He was united in marriage to Ivy Caroline Saale in 1975.
David worked for the county on the road crew for many years. He loved fishing, hunting, and his dog! David also enjoyed singing and drawing pictures. He was quite the artist.
David was a born-again Christian, of Baptist faith, and loved to share Gods word with everyone he met. Family meant everything to David. He is now with our Lord and all his loved ones whom have already went to Heaven.
Those left to honor Davids memory is his great niece, Janet Christopher of St. Joseph, Missouri.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Faye Saale; brothers, Jimmy, Charles, Louis Jr.; and sisters, Alice Joswick, Mary Kinola, Francis Saale, and Teresa Chamberlain.
Per Davids wishes, cremation has been accorded. There are no scheduled services at this time. Memorials have been established to Janet Christopher, to be determined at a later date, and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, C/O Saale family, 1900 South 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
