David McGraw's Obituary
David Eugene McGraw, 62, of Altoona and formerly of Allerton passed away Tuesday, January 9th, 2018 in Aurora, Illinois. David was born in Allerton to Rex & Opal (Chinn) McGraw on July 22, 1955. He received his education from Wayne County High School graduating in 1973. David was a veteran of the United States Air Force. David toured in the Gulf War and was honorably discharged as a sergeant after 13 years of service. He enjoyed watching westerns, listening to music, cooking meals, watching the Packers, and was a Coca-Cola fanatic. Survivors include his wife Lisa Bromley-McGraw, children: Loretta McGraw, Aline McGraw, Frank Munroe, Alisha Bromley, Sarah Bromley, grandchildren: Hannah McGraw, Zaxxaz Culbert, father: Rex McGraw, siblings: Mike McGraw, Kelly McGraw, Pat McGraw, Karen Davidson and Jeannie Lenox. He was preceded in death by his mother Opal McGraw, son Scott Alan McGraw, and grandmother, Myrtle Chinn. Funeral service will be 11:30 a.m., Friday, January 19th, 2018 at Thomas Funeral Home in Corydon. Visitation will be one hour prior to service from 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Interment will take place at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel.
