David Allen Housh's Obituary
David Housh, 65, passed away October 27, 2015 at the Corydon Specialty Care after an extended illness. He was born October 13, 1950 in Leon, IA, the son of Harold and Marjorie Housh. David graduated from Seymour Community High School in 1968. He was a truck driver for nearly 30 years and then farmed with his brother Dennis until his illness no longer allowed him to do so. He enjoyed trips out west riding horses in the mountains with family members and friends. He also loved spending time with his children and his grandchildren and teasing his nieces and nephews. They were all very precious to him. David liked watching and reading westerns and working cattle with his brother, he enjoyed the outdoors and was good at working with his hands, especially doing welding projects. David is survived by his mother, Marjorie Housh of Seymour; children, Lesia (Eddie) Pomeroy and Michael Conway of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Cody and Katelee Pomeroy and Hailey Conway of Murfreesboro, TN; siblings, Dennis (Cheryl) Housh of Seymour, Dale (Jill) Housh of Corydon, Sue (Bob) Smith of Moravia and sister-in-law Cindy Housh of Carlisle; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his father Harold Housh, brothers, Danny Housh and Douglas Housh, sister Sharon Ewing, and son David Housh, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the Thomas-Randolph Funeral Home in Corydon. Visitation will be one hour prior to service from 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. at Thomas-Randolph Funeral Home in Corydon. Interment will be at the High Point Cemetery in High Point.
