Danny Dresser's Obituary
Danny Dwight Dresser, age 58 formerly of Corydon passed away at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines on February 18, 2021. Daniel Dwight Dresser was born on December 15, 1962 in Leon, Iowa to Charles and Johnita (Head) Dresser. He attended school in Corydon and graduated from Wayne Community High School with the class of 1981. Danny had three children: Ross, Chris and Holly. Danny worked as a supervisor at Hy-Vee wholesale for many years. He also helped with a mowing business. He enjoyed going turkey hunting, fishing with his River Brothers, arrowhead hunting; even making his own arrowheads. He also loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his son Ross Merritt (Elizabeth), son Chris Dresser (Jessica), daughter Holly Dresser (Josh Todd), nine grandchildren John, Erin, Bryn, Kohl, Preslie, Meisha, Dawson, Urijah, Maddox, his parents; Charles and Johnita Dresser, brother Chuck Dresser (Tina), sister Cindy Foster (Terry), Scott Bunnell and The River Brothers, numerous extended family members and many friends. A visitation will be held at Thomas Funeral Home in Corydon on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm without family present and 5:00 -7:00 p.m. with family present. An interment will be held at Shriver Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be given to the family and will be designated at a later date.
